Mini Bio
Jaquin “Q” Allen is a Chicago native that now lives in Columbia, South Carolina. He attended Benedict College, where he earned a degree in mass communications, making him the first member of his family to graduate from college. Jaquin’s weight problems started at the age of 16, when an injury prevented him from playing football. Jaquin got a wake-up call about his weight when a friend recently died from complications related to obesity. “I want to be able to grow old with my wife and be an active part of my son’s life as he grows up,” he says.
